Woman-Owned, Made-In-America Clothing

Adaptive Workout Tanks Designed for Woman, By Women

Zippytops was born from a simple problem: activewear shouldn’t hurt to take off. After struggling with shoulder issues, our founder recognized a significant gap in the made-in-America clothing market—women’s exercise tops that are actually easy to put on and take off. What started as a personal frustration turned into a mission to help other women feel strong, supported, and seen.
As a proud women-owned business, we understand that comfort, accessibility, and style are not optional—they’re essential. That’s why every piece we create is made with intention, and every zipper, seam, and fabric choice serves a purpose.

Thoughtful Design, Real-Life Comfort

Our adaptive workout tank tops are designed for ladies who keep going, even when life throws a curveball, such as a frozen shoulder or a rotator cuff injury. We design smart, adaptive women’s athletic wear that looks good, feels good, and respects the way your body moves. No more struggling to wrangle a tight top over your head post-workout or feeling awkward with a bare midriff. Our zipper-front designs are as empowering as they are practical—because activewear should work with your body, not against it. Shop now.

Proudly Made in America

We're committed to quality, ethics, and supporting local communities. That’s why Zippytops is part of the growing movement of made-in-America clothing brands. From sourcing to stitching, we keep our production close to home - made in San Francisco - ensuring the highest standards and a smaller environmental footprint. Choosing Zippytops means supporting skilled workers and a more sustainable future for fashion.

Our Founder: Andrea Reese

Andrea Reese, the founder, had no previous background in creating clothes - in fact, her background is in engineering and market research.  However, creating a workout top with a zipper was so important to her that she spent several years researching fabrics and construction, as well as consulting experts in design and manufacturing in San Francisco, where she resides, before launching Zippytops.  Drawing on the best, she has produced the comfy, stylish, made-in-America clothing you see today from this growing woman-owned business.
